Computer Analysis

Computerized testing has been performed on the counter-balanced grips and the unique AccupowerMethod theory. The simple tests were developed to enable a camera to follow the actual flight path of the ball when hit by a golfer. The setup also provided a chart of key readings taken during the various swings of a club. The key readings included:

· The club path to and from the ball
· Weight distribution at three points during the swing
· The speed of the club at impact
· The position of the club-face at contact with the ball.

The equipment was set up on the first tee of the course. Anyone who wanted to participate in a two-swing test did so before teeing off on the first hole. On the first swing, the player would swing the club of their choice through the machine and would receive a printed analysis of that swing. With the second swing, the player would use the same club with a back-weighted test cap mounted on the grip of the club to simulate conditions of using a LADD counter-balanced grip. When the findings were compared, the counter-balanced grip proved conclusively to improve the control and speed of the club head. The swing with the counter-balanced grip improved the golfer’s swing 2-to-1 in distance and 9-to-1 in accuracy. Field trials by numerous players have been very positive and consistent with the computer results.
